About
Öner Taylan Öztürk is a contemporary artist living and working between Ankara and Istanbul. A graduate of the Painting Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, his artistic practice traces the complex, systemic connections and relational networks of life.
Investigating the internal dynamics between the concepts of nature, systems, and machines, Öztürk reflects on the 'human' and its potentials at the intersection of technological and bureaucratic power relations. During this research process, he integrates digital systems and technical architectures alongside various materials into his conceptual framework.
His works primarily interrogate the spatial projections of power dynamics, bureaucratic apparatuses, and how non-human actors are represented within institutional structures.
