Heaviness (2025)
Upon the artist's request, his father begins to pen his memoirs. In the shadow of the past, cultural codes, familial bonds, and political conflicts, these texts also represent the burden left behind by previous generations. While the sea sand-filled jars bound together by tulle emphasize the passage of time, the physical pressure exerted by stones of various sizes onto the papers bearing these written memories transfers the emotional weight and historical burden of the texts to new generations.
